The first Annual Wine on the Mountain was hosted in Grouse Mountain’s Lupin Room on Saturday, October 28th, allowing the fine folk of Vancouver to spritz on the sparkles and get silly at high altitudes rather than sea level. But the event was for a good cause: to raise money for the British Columbia Adoptive Families Association, an organization which helps find adoptive families for children who are without.

Food and wine pairing was the focus as more than 100 wines from around the world were poured alongside nearly $100,000 worth of silent and live auction items.

Some local media, Catherine Pope and Fred Lee, as well as Vancouver wine personality John Schreiner volunteered their time for this important event.
