News Zoom - Clark and Kambolis - 2011 Seafood Champions
SeaWeb today announced Robert Clark and Harry Kambolis as winners of the 2011 Seafood Champions Awards at the International Boston Seafood Show.
OTHER NEWS ... Blasted Church Vineyards has begun a search for a new winemaker to succeed Richard Kanazawa, who is leaving the company, effective immediately. Mr. Kanazawa has been with the company for the past four years. Sommelier and wine writer Kurtis Kolt has joined the Rosewood Hotel Georgia as Wine Consultant. Kolt will oversee all dining ventures at the hotel. Masa Shiroki from Artisan Sake at Granville Island will appear at Quince on March 30th to talk about the finer nuances of sake and match his sake to Japanese Izakaya dishes. The event will be a fundraiser for the Japanese Red Cross. 6 to 7:15 p.m. Chef Jennifer Dodd has joined Edible BC at the Granville Market as their new Chef de Cuisine. Market by Jean-Georges has just introduced their new spring menu and Mr. Vongerichten himself will be in town and at the Shangri-la Hotel for the official launch this Thursday.
